Business Name: Canvas-My-Art is a trading name of FSSupport Ltd.

Only persons aged eighteen years or over may agree to these terms and use the web site or the services offered through the web site.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will post the modified terms on the web site. The modified terms will come into effect as soon as they are posted on the web site and use of the web site (or of any services provided through the web site) after that point will be subject to the modified terms.

Payment

Canvas-My-Art will not offer credit terms and all prints must be paid for when ordered. We currently accept payment through payment provider GoogleCheckout or alternatively you can pay by Credit/Debit card through our secure online payment gateway NoChex.
We also provide the option to PayOffline which lets you pay by cash or credit/debit card at one of 17,000 locations around the UK. Follow their link below for more information or to find your nearest PayOffline outlet.
Please note though that payments will have to clear before we start work on your canvas

 

Cancelling an order

Once an order has been paid for we will start production on your canvases. If you need to cancel an order a 10% administration charge will occur as long as you cancel before we started printing your canvas. Once we've printed your canvas we cannot cancel an order. We normally start canvas printing 8 hours after an order is placed.

Delivery

Delivery costs will vary depending on the destination of the artwork. This cost will be made clear at the point of ordering. Delivery will be provided for by specialist couriers and they will require for someone to be present to sign and collect the artwork.

It is the sole responsibilty of the customer to ensure that someone is available to take delivery and FSSupport Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any late, lost or unforseable event caused by a delivery date not being met. You shall be deemed to have accepted the goods after receiving delivery. It is your responsibility to check the delivery before signing for it and we cannot refund any damaged deliveries that have not been logged by the courier firm at the point of delivery.

Generally only goods shipped outside the EC may incur duties or border taxes. Please note that payment of any taxes levied are the responsibility of the customer, we advise you to ring your local advice bureau for more information.

Returns

We will not accept returns without prior agreement and will only accept returns due to damaged canvases logged at receipt and informed to the couriers. On receipt of the returned item we will print a new canvas and have that delivered to the same address.

We reserve the right to refuse to print any images it considers offensive, indecent or obscene . Equally we reserve the right to refuse to work with images that are of poor quality or which are insufficient for the purpose intended by the customer.

Manufacture

Canvas My Art carries out in-house work in our own studio. However, we reserve the right to sub-contract aspects of the production, packaging or delivery of your work if we deem it suitable or necessary

Colour

We use industry leading tools to colour match our monitors and printers to achieve high colour accuracy, but while we try to accurately colour match every photo submitted, we cannot be held responsible for exact colour matching requirements. Colours may appear differently on your computer screen than ours (due to contrast, hue settings on your monitor) and we will not accept returns for colour related issues.
If exact colour matching is important then we suggest contacting us to discuss test samples or methods of adjusting your monitor to the correct calibration.

Image cropping and gallery wrapping

To fit your photo onto the specified canvas size we will often have to crop the original photo. We will do this with the utmost sensitivity to retain the original feel of the image but we will not be held responsible for cropping out any part of the image. If there are specific parts of the photo that you would like to keep on the front of the canvas you should let us know in advance.

Gallery wrapping is also a popular choice but to "bleed" the image the photo must be enlarged to cover the edges of the canvas. Our canvases have a depth up to 2 inches and we therefore have to enlarge your image from 4-6 inches in length and width to cover these edges. Sometimes this will lead to an important part of your photo ending up on the side of the canvas (for example part of a face, an eye, or a large part of a head). In these circumstances we may contact you to advise you of the options to either "mirror" the sides or to print the photo on the front of the canvas only. If you have ordered multiple canvases we will print all in the same style for consistency. This retains the best overall feel from your photos.

Copyright

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that any image that they present for transformation into a canvas print is copyright free or that the copyright is owned by the customer themselves. We will take no responsibility for any breach of copyright caused through printing an image supplied by a customer.

Privacy Policy

Whilst we will need to take certain personal details such as contact and delivery information we will never pass this information over to any 3rd party (except for the needs of product delivery). We do retain the right to use photos of your canvas as thumbnail examples on the site. If you don't want your artwork displayed please contact us and we'll remove it.

This site contains links to other sites. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other web sites. We recommend that you check the policy of each site that you visit.

What you cannot do

You are not allowed to copy (whether by printing off onto paper, storing on disk or in any other way), distribute (including distributing copies), alter or tamper with in any way or otherwise use any material contained in the web site.
You are not allowed to upload, email to us or order prints of any images or other material which contain:

• Pornographic or obscene material
  
• Racist material
  
• Material that is likely to incite hatred against any person or group
  
• Blasphemous material
  
• Defamatory or otherwise actionable material
  
• Images of any criminal act
  
• Material the use or inclusion of which infringes any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of any third party

By using this website you agree to indemnify FSSupport Ltd. and any of its directors, employees or other representatives against any claims, direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a direct or indirect result of the use of this website and any information or computer software contained therein or by your access to other websites as a result of links from this site. We make every effort to ensure that this website does not contain any computer viruses but cannot guarantee this or warrant that it is virus-free.

Use of the website

This website is the property of FSSupport Ltd. This includes all web design, text, graphics, source code and software. No part of this site may be reproduced, downloaded linked to or otherwise used without the express written permission of FSSupport Ltd. Permission is granted to electronically copy and to print in hard copy portions of this Website for the sole purpose for using this Website as a shopping resource and to place an order with FSSupport Ltd.
All copyright, design right and other intellectual property rights in our designs and products (and in the images, text and design of this website) are and will remain the property of FSSupport Ltd. Any infringement of these rights will be pursued.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms (and the provision of goods and services by us) are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with English law and OFT Distance Selling Regulations. In the event of any dispute arising in relation of these terms or in relation to the provision of any goods and services by us the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute.
